According to her Death Notice in the South African Archives, Amabel died on 3/9/1940 (September 3, 1940) at St. Gabriels, Whitstone Road, Paignton, Devon, of a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 77. Her daughter, Coralie A. Rowbotham was "present at the death" and signed the death notice. Decima was Administratix of her will, gives her address as Highfield, Barnfield, Paignton, Devon.
