Individual Note: Both Walter and Wilmot buried in north aisle of Iddesleigh church. There is a tablet showing a lady in a hooped dress with infant child by her. The inscription reads:-
"Here lies the body of Wilmot wyfe of Walter Veale Rector of Monk Okehampton.
Buried ye last day of August AD1681 and also of their daughter Hannah."
