     Listed as Mårten Karlsson Finne in Fjällsjö parish records.
Known as "Finn Martin" locally in Product, Saskatchewan. Took out homestead in his name and lived in small log cabin on his homestead quarter section, NE 30-30-17-W2. Later on, when Martin got ill and moved in with son's family, grandson Reuben Heglan stayed in cabin, later with his wife Esther Reike (nee Deeg).

Marten Karlsson Finne emigrated from Maxmo, Finland to Ofra, Junsele, Sweden on May 11, 1872.

Mårten Karlsson, 58 years old, from Junsele, emigrated from Gothenburg 24 April 1903 and his destination was Whitewood, Saskatchewan, Canada. Assin. Ref source: 72:637:1858 and he travelled together with:Eva Stina Karlsson, 53 years old from Junsele, Ann Kristin Mårtenson, 15 years old from Junsele, Karl Erik Mårtenson , 25 years old from Junsele Karl Valdm Mårtenson, 4 years old from Junsele. ( Valdm short for Valdemar)
