Individual Note: In the same year (1604) he bought from William Thorold of Blankney property described as the
manor of Haddington and three farms, one cottage with croft, and a
close called the Wonge. This George Nevile, however, seems to have
died without issue and his lands passed to his nephew and namesake,
a younger son of his eldder brother John Nevile, of West Burton and Grove.

Katherine, he left Aubourn manor house with gardens and closes, and his house at Harmston for her life, if she wished to live at one of them
for the most part. She was also to have the furnishings and goods in
both, with certain exceptions. Katherine lived on at Aubourn until her
death in 1715. Her will and inventory provide a very detailed picture of
the rooms and furnishings of the Aubourn house (L.C.C. 171512; Stow
Admon. 239). Aubourn now ceased to be the main seat of the Lincolnshire
Neviles until the present century.

came of age, he was to have the inheritance.
