     -much desired by the men of the Court (both for her looks and her
money)
-when she was eighteen, despite her guardian's strong preferences for
other suitors, John Wilmot, Earl of Rochester, kidnapped her while
she was riding in her coach.. He kept her for a few days, to 'woo'
her, but did not force himself upon her. They were married shortly
thereafter. During their marriage, they had four children, and even
though he was not faithful to his wife, he was very fond of his
children.
-a woman of great fortune, she was the last of the Malets to live at Enmore.
